THE BUSINESS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM ATTRACTS MANY BUSINESSES AND UNIVERSITIES.

Business Internship Program

The Southern National Entrepreneurship Advisory Council’s Business Internship Program for SMENTOR Institue, which has been in operation since the beginning of 2018, has attracted the interest of several businesses and universities.

Businesses that participate in the Business Internship program not only help students get internships, but they also choose a reliable, capable, and well-suited generation of human resources to the business culture.

  • In March 2018, students from Agriculture and Forestry University, Lac Hong University (Dong Nai), Ho Chi Minh City University of Finance and Marketing, and Ho Chi Minh City College of Economics enrolled in the business internship program at VNPT Group, Binh Duong. During the excursion, students got the chance to conduct market research and directly interact with customers to determine their satisfaction with VNPT Binh Buong’s services. On May 11, 2018, the Council’s Head of Communication and Event Organization, Nguyen Chi Thanh, met with the Board of Directors of VNPT Binh Duong to discuss the business internship program.

  • Businesses were highly interested in the Council’s Enterprise Semester program, which was conducted by SMENTOR Institute, during the “Business Roundtable” forum sponsored by the Faculty of Accounting, Ton Duc Thang University on May 18, 2018.
  • Nguyen Thi Thuy, Standing Vice Chairman of the Council and General Director of SMENTOR Institute, attended Kanvis Company in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City, to evaluate the business internship program. Students from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, the University of Finance – Marketing, and the University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City are recruited at Kanvis Company. At the same time, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy trained “Customer communication skills” to Kanvis employees and students who participated in the business internship program at Kanvis, a company specializing in the manufacture and manufacturing of cameras in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Business Internship Program is obviously a meaningful and relevant program. The program brought students closer to businesses, and they learned firsthand through day-to-day working at companies. The theories students learned at university will become more vibrant, simpler to understand, and more meaningful as a result of this program.
